what filter did this tile flip effect? |

Yes, it is flash, but the effect is combination of 19 different images rendered by some kind of the "tile flip" effect in Photoshop. Any ideas what filter can flip and tile images this way? It's absolutely beautiful. See the effect here: http://tinyurl.com/3ye8m8 |

Very cool effect. I'm not sure if it was filter generated or not. I can see scripting Photoshop to produce those images. Really it would just require; dividing the active layer into the tiles (extensive math but scriptable) ,making selections based on the division, taking each selection to a new image, Applying a layer mask to mask 50% of the image, Save all images sequentially both with AND without the layer mask. After you have the images the magic will happen with Flash and actionscript. |
