Hello, i am new to photoshop and i just found this forum on the internet because i need help with a somewhat difficult task i have been assigned.

I need to recreate the following graphic shown below, with a few modifications.

The way i was originally planning to do it was create a number of circles and then split them into triangles, overlaying new circles when needed. My main questions is, is there a way to exactly split a circle into triangles in Photoshop?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions on how i could recreate this graphic? Is photoshop even the right program?

Thanks

Sebastian

I think Illustrator is better suited for this. It can be done in photoshop, but it will be alot less painfull in Illustrator or one of the other vector Apps.

Ok, thanks for the tip. Any idea where i can get some good tutorials on making shapes like this, or just editing shapes in general?

I agree with tornupinside, Illustrator's the way to go. Yes it would be possible in PS, but as torn says, it could be painful, and I doubt the quality of the result would equal that of Illustrator's vector objects.

Check out the 'Getting started with Illustrator' tutorial in the tutorials section of this forum. There's also loads of beginners tutorials on the web.

in a vector proggy like Illustrator, it shouldn't be a problem. All it will consist of is some circles and some lines.
