Does any one know to do a Godzilla Logo

I have tried everything in my knowledge to this

right in the middile part where the text is supposed to be it should look something like this

I just need to be able to do something like that. I would apperciate it if anyone would tell me how to do it give me some tips.

Type the text and position it where you want it over the glow.

then CTR+click the "T" icon on the text layer in the layers pallet... That will give you a selection (marching ants) in the shape of the text.

with that selection active select the glow layer and click the create layer mask icon at the bottom of the layers pallet.
