One question I have is taking a picture at 100 percent and appling it to be a backround of 30% or 20%. How do I do that?

In the layers pallet change the opacity of that layer to 20/30%. However if the lowered opacity lets you see unwanted stuff that may be behind said background you may have to go another route. Another option, Open the image that will be the BG image and open the "curves" dialog. (ctr+M in windows) then change the "output" settings to 20/30%. THEN add the image to the image in which it will be the BG. OH!.... and welcome to the group. |
