Adobe wont work! help!

I think something is wrong with my computer... Whenever i open up photoshop or illustrator itll work fine sometimes and sometimes it wont work at all. Illustrator sometimes gives me the msg "Could not request ..." and when I click on New image it doesnt display all the options. Itll leave out the OK and CANCEL buttons and several other options sometimes. And sometimes Ill be able to create a file but i cant save... And sometimes when all this is happening I cant open any new windows on my computer and cant do any tasks at all on my pc..

other times when i think it works perfectly some of the options for different tools wont work at all... this is frustrating me ><

If you haven't downloaded and installed the 9.02 update for CS2 you should it corrects several windows issues.
