Can Anyone Do this one (need help)

I AM TRYING TO GET THE LIGHTING EFFECTS IN THIS PIC IN PHOTOSHOP AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THE STROKES OF LIGHT AROUND THIS PIC....THE GRADIENT AND ALL THANKS IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW

I think it's done by making a 45 degree selection with the polygonal lasso tool on a new layer, filling it with a color gradient from the bottom of the selection to the top, in a 45 degree angle.

Than create a new layer and fill that with a black to transparant gradient, and another one in the opposite direction with a white to transparant gradient. You can than merge the layers and change the opacity a bit.

tried that and it kinda is what im looking for but not exactly if u could be more detailed i think i would be good or if anyone knows any other ways
