Hi I was attempting the tutorial below: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/articles-Quick-photo-to-lineart-(with-hundreds-of-variables)-5,8,168a.html and I followed ti all the way to the end where it told me to "Merge Down" the layers, I am not sure what that means, or exactly what I am supposed to do. Could anyone explain that to me? Thanks in Advance |

If the layers are in the order I had them in in the tutorial, you simply select the top layer in the layers pallet and then click the little "right pointing" arrow at the top-right of the layers pallet and select "merge down"

When I click the arrow on the top of the Layers Pallete/Window. Merge Down is greyed out fro some reason. I can only do Merge Visible or flatten Image. Any chance this is because I am using Photoshop CS2?

I created the tutorial in CS2, and if Merge down is grayed out either you have a layer selected that doesn'r have a layer under it or you have the background layer selected.
