I've tried just using the brush tool to draw the wavy lines and then adding glow and different blur effects but I can't get the lines to look perfect like the ones in the example. Can anyone help please? Perhaps I just need a graphics tablet to draw the lines more effectively?.. or can anyone suggest anything else? Thanks in advance! |

You can use the pen tool to create the lines

I agree with tornupinside, the pen tool would give you the best, smoothest lines. I would also suggest you create a line on a layer above the background layer. This way, instead of drawing all the lines on one layer, you can copy the layer, move its position up or down a few pixels to create a new line, and vary the colour/blur/glow/opacity. Then repeat as necessary. You might only need two or three different shaped pen paths to do the whole thing. Hope this helps you |
