Eyecropper problems

Hey all, (it's meant to be eyedropper)

Not sure if this has been posted before, had a quick look, sorry if it has.

About a week ago, my eyedropper tool suddenly changed so that instead of altering the foreground color, it instead alters the background color.

I have had a look at preferences, and "reset all tools" as well as fiddling with as well as having an explore in Edit > Keyboard shortcuts. All to no avail.

If anyone has any advice i would really appriciate it, this is all way over my head plus i'm sick of fiddling round and just want to get on with my drawing!

not sure how to flip back - mine does the same.
as a work-around try holding down ALT whilst using the eyedropper - makes it change foreground.
