And if you can't be bothered to wait for that table to load - the quick shortcut is command-shift-option - N

And if you go up to the Layer > New > Layer menu, it should tell you right beside the text.

The table took a long time to load? You must be using Netscape. It comes up in a jiffy even on this slowass computer I use at work. I was trying to give him a nudge in the right direction, without doing all the work for him. Kinda like parenting. If you do everything for your kid, when he gets out into the real world, he'll be spoiled, and won't be able to handle the real world. At least that's what I assume, without actually being a parent. Kids these days... Psh. |

:p Deker - best way to introduce them to the real world - firm kick up the backside, and an introduction to www.google.com I agree! |

I once had an English teacher who admitted to the class that she was a horrible speller. But she said she was one of the best @ using a dictionary--ie. know your reference materials!

I agree 10,000% about knowing your reference materials. I grew up going to libraries, and to this day, I excel at information mining. The reason I look so smart to some people is that I have lots of help...help that is available to anyone willing to take advantage of it. Namely...books, CD manuals and printed software manuals, and Google of course. |
