Help with a Shadow

I've been trying all morning to try and make a shadow for my Media project, I have the image, and I have the black fill version of the image, I just can't seem to get it to look like a shadow...

Here's the image so far:



ANY help would be greatly appreciated :D

I'd use the shape of the kid, fill with black and use the free transform to drag it out behind him. Wayne

Well I've got the shadow of the kid, as you can see behind him :confused:

If you look at a real shadow of a person, it starts at the feet and drags out behind, I'd lay the shadow down and drag it out to look more realistic. Wayne

Ah, I thought that's what you meant, I'll try it now...

Well whaddayaknow, I found a shadow feature on Photoshop! *hehe* It doesn't do the thing as if it's on the floor, but I managed that by myself with a simple shape, thanks anyways man :D
