So I scanned in a picture of a lineart that I did: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c243/deweythesecond/berserk.jpg But, as you can see, it is very sketchy... I wondered if there is any way I can smoothen the lines out, and make them darker, and really clean? For example, like this: http://www.geocities.com/gundam_manga/rms-154_lineart.jpg How do they make it so smooth like that? BARE IN MIND I ONLY HAVE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS, SO NO PEN TOOL! (It would be great if there was a Pen Tool plug-in :D) THANKS! |

OK, first things first....How tight the image is at the end is going to depend on how tight it is on the original sketch. You can with a whole lot of work make a so-so sketch a quality piece of line art but it will take alot of work. Rescan the image at 600 dpi RGB In elements pull up the levels pallet and pull the black slider toward the right to darken up the blacks, and pull the white slider toward the left to whiten up the whites. Click OK Not get out the eraser and pencil tools and clean it up. |
