Color fade gradient type thing? HELP PLEASE! |

OK so i work on a wolf conservation site, and i saw a picture of a wolf thatg someone had somehow added a really nice looking gradient to, and i thought it would make a really ncie addition to the site. Unfortunatly, the person who made the picture refuses to inform me on how they made said pic. There are probably a hundred ways to do this.... Heres a couple.... 1) Open the image, Double click the layer in the layers pallet....Click ok in the resulting dialog box. Now double click the layer again to bring up the layer effects dialog, on the left hand side toward the bottom you'll see, "gradient overlay" Select the gradient you want and play around with it a bit... 2) Open the image and add a new layer, Fill the new layer with a gradient and change its blend mode to overlay. Now in the layers pallet select the "background layer" and move the "fill" slider at the top of the layers pallet to about 70% Like I said, there are tons of ways to get this effect...these are just a couple. |
