Photo edit question

This has probably been asked before, but how do you edit an object out of a photo? I need to edit a small plant out of a photo of mine because it's a distraction.

I use photoshop 7, by the way.

If someone knows of a good tutorial that shows me how to do this or if someone on here can just explain the process to me, that would be appreciated.

Using the "clone" tool is more than likley going to be your best bet. Of course without seeing the image its hard to say how difficult it will be.

you can search for tutorials on using the clone tool and see if it will apply to that image.
