Really need help. Changing text only in an image without changing anything else |

Like the image above, How can I change N in flamiNg text to some other alphabet, without changing anything else. |

I am new also (and only use pse2! for scrapbooking) could you not just select the letter itself with the magic wand tool and then fill it with a different colour? Lin |

If you create a new layer above the 'dragon' layer, anything painted on that layer will obscure the layer underneath. So, type or paint your new 'n' on the top layer, then position it over the original 'n' with the 'move' tool, and re-size it to fit using 'free transform' (CTRL + T). You can touch-up any imperfections on the base layer with the clone tools.
