I'm sure we can help you out, but a couple questions come to mind.... So are you looking to "create" all the test tubes, beakers and stuff in photoshop? If yes, then the question becomes how fluent are you in photoshop? You are looking at alot of airbrushing, alot of precise selection creation and a good bit of time. |

OK, so lets get started. First we'll have to discuss the orientation or the "view angle" you are looking for. Do you want the background to look like there is a lab table across the room in the background? Or... Is the table even visible? Like are the contents of the table more detailed and prominent? |

I want the actual background to be the table. And the test tube and other objects etc will be detailed and link to other areas of the site like about us etc..

OK, Melissa.... First I'd like you to do THIS tutorial.... it will give you a heads up on what you are going to have to do with ALL the glass objects you are going to create. Its actually almost exactly what I did to creat this down and dirty quicky image. So do that tutorial, post your result... and I'll be glad to help you through creating your Laboratory... Muuuhaaahahahaha! ;) |
