hello photoshop genious over there... this is a photoshop newbie post for the first time....hope any mistkes are apologized. I had made a banner but it seems qualityless.. there is a white stripes around the text and the photo seems qualityless...Check out the banner at http://www.heavenlypath.org/ i dont know the problem ..plz help me to correct the problem seen in the pic.. anyway thanks in advance |

The white around the text in the image is produced because the image is a gif. and the "matte" setting when you saved it was not the same color as the green background you placed it over.

You will never going to get it perfect using a gif for the text, because of the gradient background. You should use jpg with the background in it or (my favourite) get rid of that gradient. BTW, you'd better start using CSS for positioning page elements instead of tables. Here's a start. Good luck |
