Photoshop won't open anyfiles.

When I try to open anyfile from either Bride or Os dialog a error message box pops up and says "Could not Complete your request because of a program error" I have searched adobes website and have not found anything conclusive. Anyone have any ideas?

Try holding down ctr+shift+alt+W while launching PS... you'll be prompted to delete your prefs file
tell it yes and then see what you've got

nope. but I was told that if I renamed my library folder it would fix it. and it did. I just lost all my mail, addresses and preferences.
