Hello, i was wondering how to create custom shapes with CS2. At the moment i'm dirtily drawing straight line angles freehand and they look terrible. How would i, for example, cut the corners a square. Id use the rectangular marquee tool rotated 45 degrees and then cut off the corners like that. But it's not accurate at all and there's no shading to make the line look smooth. Thanks. Pete |

I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say.....HUH? There is a Round corner rectangle tool in photoshop...hold down on the shape tool button. Then you'll see the rounded corner rectangle tool... change the corner radius at the top of the screen in the options bar |

There's a custom shapes tool below the Text tool in CS2. Maybe you'll find a solution there..? OR, you might have better luck creating your shapes in Illustrator, what with the "alignment" options it provides, then importing those shapes into Photoshop. /hoot |
