How to make and use a watermark

I've been having some trouble trying to get the watermark feature (or Digimarc as CS2 calls it) to work. The digimarc isnt free, and all I'm wanting to do is put my name in the bottom corner of my pictures. Does anyone know how to do this:confused:

Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but...

Create a new Layer above your image, put the 'mark' you want and 'Save' your image.
