blending two images |

im very new to photoshop(ok not that new but i can do only the basic simple stuff-like painting..lol). anyway, iwant to blend two images. so..how to do it or, how can i put another picture to a new layer(only the image i opened showed up in layers and i dont know how to put anotherone in the layers).

Create a new file (Ctrl+n) set it up with size large enough, color mode RGB. open first pic (Ctrl+o)(make sure it is in rgb mode (image->mode) select Move tool (v) drag this image on to the one you've created. open second image (same procedures as above) drag it too.... now you should have two layers plus background!
