Hey guys,

Just come across your site today, seems very friendly and was wondering if you could help me or point me in the right direction?

My local football club has an old logo that someone made about 5 years ago now, and they need it updating (ie. making it look sharper.. if that makes any sense) for printing onto shirts etc. And also needs the white surround taken away just to leave a round logo.

Apologies in advance if this come across as a really stupid post, but your help would be hugely appreciated.

Hi

No, your post isn't stupid, its just you may be barking up the wrong forum! It looks to me you need help from someone proficient in vector art eg Illustrator or Freehand, as opposed to Photoshop, which is pixel-based. Vector graphics software will produce the sharp, clean lines you require.

Hi Si Hilton,

there are a lot of great vector artists on this forum.
I'm sure one of them is bound to reply.

Only problem with this file is that I haven't made the boat vector yet. So it will print nice at about 200% and below but above 200% it doesn't have enoght resolution to stay clean. The rest of the image is vector and can be scaled as large as you want. If I have time tonight or tomorrow I'll make the boat vector and reupload the eps file.
HERE is the eps file.
