Hi, I'm new and I was wondering what file I extract the brushes that I download to.
I've downloaded this brush and pressed "Extract all Files" but I don't know where to extract them to so they will be available in Photoshop...

Thanks!

inside the photoshop folder there is a "presets" folder inside there you'll find a "brushes" folder... drop the .abr file in there and restart PS

I still can't find it, but I know where to extract it to now, thanks
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes
Everytime I try to extract them, it says they are password protected, is the password made by the creator or....?

Because I can't download any of them if I don't know the password.

Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to get brushes from internet to photoshop?

Yes whoever packaged the file passworded the file. Chances are somewhere on the site where you got them you'll find the password. Alot of times the pass will be the address of the site you got them from like: www.brushes.com or whatever.

A step by step isn't needed all you need is the password to that .rar, .zip or whatever get the pass and extract them to that brushes fold and you're set.
