putting yourself in the same pic twice.

i have photoshop cs2 and i want to know how to do this :


i know you have to keep your camera in a steady spot and take two pictures of yourself in whatever position..but when i get them onto photoshop..i have no idea what to do.
a tutorial of how would be greatly appreciated.

All you really have to do is open both images and use the pen tool to isolate the subject you want to extract from one photo with a path, and then change that path to a selection.
hit V and drag your isolated image into the other photo and position as you wish.

A decent enough tutorial Lion of Judah, but really if the camera is on a tripod (or a stationary place) the images should be EXACTLY the same as long as you don't move the camera and you don't take the pictures more than a couple hours apart so that the lighting is different.

Once you have the two pictures... just put them in the save file and erase using a large eraser brush and they images should be the same. You don't have to go as crazy as you discribed, however if he wants to put himself behind himself or something along those lines, than your tutorial would be what he is looking for.
