Hello, I just started using Photoshop and have been searching and searching for something but couldn't find it. I hope someone can help me... How can I fade out the edges of a photo? I would like to put a photo on the top of my website and let the bottom of the photo fade out so it gradually gets the color of the background. Can someone tell me how I can do this? Thank you very much in advance! Ralph |

You just need to create a layer mask and use a large fuzzy brush or the gradient tool to set where you want it to fade. Or if you don't mind not being able to restore the original image, you can just use the eraser with a big brush and erase the bottom part of the image.
