I want to create this: on photoshop. I want to outline everything smoothly and colorize the center of these "branches", etc... What methods must I use? Vector points? Brush drawing? or another method/software? If I use the brush, I can I make it smooth and not zigzaggy? Like the top one in this picture: |

Yeah you would most likely use the Pen tool in photoshop or illustrator to do that. You should be able to make it as smooth as you want, just don't make that many points and use the curves instead.
