Hey, I've noticed a new lil' effect goin' around.. Looks like the pen tool is being used but could someone make a tutorial as to how it's done or link me to one? (Hence I've more of a visual learner, I'd preferr a tutorial with images) Here is what I'm talking about... (The highlighted pen shaped areas. I know how to do the pattern,text,button,border... I just can't figure out how people are making those pen effects...) |

I'm not sure a tutorial is needed at all... just get the pen tool and start playing with it.... to make the slick curves just click and while you have the mouse button held down drag a little bit you'll see the effects. BUT... you can also get that type effect by creating a long rectangle selection and going Filter >Distort> Wave..... Using the "sine" setting play with the Wavelength and aplitude |
