Loads path as a selection

I use the Pen draw a curve,.......then......I want to make path to a selection...... but the selection is inclose......but I want the selection is no inclose , only a curve.....how can I do it? thanks!

You can't turn just a vector arc into a selection. A selection is, by definition, a closed area. In order to create a selection from an unclosed vector arc, photoshop hs to draw a straight line from on end of the line to the other.

What are you trying to do, exactly? There are surely other wat=ys of getting what you need.

make a new layer without background.
you can make a path no inclose at first, and stokes path with the minsize brush.
At second,turn off the path ,and loads this layer as a selection.
that's ok.
