Sand writing with water

Hi everyone

I'm a bit desperate..I'm trying to create a postcard with text written on a beach near the shore and water just passing over some of it. I've created the text in the sand but I can't find anything on the internet, no tutorials to help me with the water effect. I could really use some help. I can't attach an image here apparently, but if anyone wants to help I can send it.

why don't you go to the beach and do what you want to do and take a photo of it? That seems less work to me.
