Alright well what I am looking to do is add a few effects to this image.

http://nextelonline.nextel.com/assets/images/phones/i930_m.gif

The first effects which I can't figure out how to do for the life of me is make the phone look skinny like an hourglass look and the second I would like the opposite and make it look chubby. Advice on how to achieve this would be great, I tried the transform/skew%distort&perspective tools but am unable to achieve the effect I invision because when I try to move a corner the other corners and pull points are affected. Sorry probobly doesn't make much sense. The distort tool was the closest I could get to the hourglass look but it was too skinny.

Most of all which I don't think I will ever be able to pull off is give the phone a cartoony smile look. Like take the image off the scrren make that a big smile and make the camera circles look more like eyes ect. If anyone would take on that task and make look great I would be will to pay for it to be done.

Hope to get some input soon, thanks in advance!

Hi darkcarter,

First of all welcome to TPS. I am just going to say one thing here... Being new to the forum, you will stand a better chance of getting an answer if you try making a few posts around the forum or in our welcome forum.

You see many new people come to TPS ask one question, but never come back to read the answer or say thanks to people that have helped them.

But saying that... One of our members may be able to help you anyway.

Good luck,

Rich

You could try the tools in the liquify filter. Pucker tool to squeeze the centre and bloat tool to...well, bloat! Take it slowly, it's easy to go too far. Not sure about the smiley face though.

also try the smudge tool, then sharpen the image after.
