Please help! PSD File ruined after reboot! :(

I rebooted my comptuer after making an illustration in photoshop (which was almost complete) and when I looked for the file to finish it there was nothing there but a 40 mb TMP file with the name ps7E. Is there any way I can get my PSD back? or is my file lost forever? i spent a lot of time on it so if anyone can help in any way id appreciate it a lot

First of all welcome to TPS. I am just going to say one thing here... Being new to the forum, you will stand a better chance of getting an answer if you try making a few posts around the forum or in our welcome forum.

You see many new people come to TPS ask one question, but never come back to read the answer or say thanks to people that have helped them.
