loading new fonts in Photoshop

Hello gurus
I am running Photoshop CS2 and i cant seem to be able to use new fonts that i place in the default windows font folder. I even restart photoshop but when i use the text tool i cannot see the new files i have added.

Can anyone suggest a plan of action, please

Did you extract the fonts straight from the zip/rar file? It may not be installed yet cause the archive may have extracted as a folder instead of just files. Check if the fonts are in the Windows/Font folder first. I've not used CS2 yet though.
