photoshop keeps freezing when opened

Hi there. Whenever I open my photoshop, and i click ANYWHERE on it, it just goes frozen and doesnt load anything (screen shot below). Does anybody know how to fix this?

end some processes before opening it. how much ram do you have? do you have alot of custom brushes loaded in?
