Hi, I've been a visitor to the site for the past week and a half and have just recently registered. I've found this site to be very usefull and informative, which is a great help when you're a graphic artist working with PhotoShop. I recently was given a project, in which the client would like to have some soap suds incorporated into the artwork. I've managed to find some tutorials and actions that simulate the effect of a soap bubble, which I've tried unsuccessfully in order to get the effect. Unfortunatelly, the effect the client wants is more of a soap suds effect rather than a bunch of soap bubbles put together:( Would anyone have any ideas on how to create the soap suds effect, or point me in the direction of some good tutorials that would help me create it? I also have the complete Corel KPT filter pack (which I recently installed ) and the Eye Candy filters, just in case anyone knows of a method to achieve this effect with those filters. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for all you help . Dave |

my initial thought would be to find a photo of some bubbles/suds/whatever and use that. no sense recreating something much more easily found in the real world IMO.

create some circles with a gradient fill (sphere), light grey and white, ad a 3d filter, change the opacity down so its semi transparent, change the brightness so it becomes whiter. find a brush of your liking to add texture then erase away at the insides, i did this before and it worked quite well, duplicate the layer, and resize, duplicate and rexize etc. -tim |
