How do I make a barometer, which fade from red to blue? ( I also need a glass effect to it)

you sure you mean barometer? there would be no reason to do a color fade in a barometer, since it is a clock-like looking piece with hands and numbers. but use a gradiant tool for your color fade.

Do you mean this: http://64.65.28.187/Gradient.jpg Just pick 2 colors, then click on Gradient Tool then at the top click on Angle Gradiant and hold and drag the mouse (making a line) where you want it to go. |

I mean a barometer like this one http://dept.physics.upenn.edu/courses/gladney/mathphys/java/sect1/images/ (This one is just to ugly) It have to be red at the top and blue at bottom. |

just make a shape with rectangular marquee and then make edit>stroke and use 1 pixel. so it has a shape and then use a gradient!

Hey! I remember all that stuff from Chemistry class. Boyle's law, Charles' law... Oh memories. Oh, as for the barometer... I don't know how to make one. |

Its not a problem to make the shape, but its more difficult to create the glass effect.
