ok, so I have an image of a man with his arms out, facing the left. I want to duplicate this image and "flip" it over, so that I have two images of the same gentleman facing eachother. My question really is how to invert or flip the image over so that his arms are facing the right? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, as I'm sure this is relatively basic [though still beyond my abilities.]

thanks,
EM

1) Open your image
2) Image-->Canvas Size
3) Double the width of the current canvas (if currently 250, make it 500)
4) Select the middle-right arrow (see image below)

5) Layer-->Duplicate Layer
6) Click "OK"
7) Edit-->Transform-->Flip Horizontal
8) Select-->All
9) Layer-->Align to selection-->Left Edge

You're done.

I am getting really hesitant to even answer questions anymore, as they just seem to ask the question and run, never to show their faces again.....

Mhmm...have TPS gotten too big. I've just returned from a long absense and I noticed that A. not many are onboard anymore. B. Just what you pointed out. C. A huge amount of similar posts and posts posted in wrong place...

I should never have left, hehe... Things where better before, eh ?

Sometimes people require help and don't have the time to check back for replies daily. I did however come back to check [as the last time I did check, there wasn't a reply.] Thanks for all the help!!!
