swirl effect?

Hello,

I've created a swirl effect for my site with a background. The only problem i'm having is that the swirl is pixlated along the button how do i either smooth it out or add some sort of shadow or line? http://circles.no-ip.com/AdobePhotoshop/RedGradient.jpg

try a blur tool on low intensity. do it on a backup first incase it doesn't look how you want
