A Few Questions!

Hi Peeps!

I'm new to this forum.:D My name is John and I have been using the program paint to do my graphics for about a year.

However, I recently got Photoshop CS, and I've been having a few problems so I decided to come here!:eek: :p

I'm quite confused about a few things. I will list them here::confused:

1. How do you download brushes and actually make them work?
2. How do you add effects?
3. Are there any other ways to make stuff blend apart from the lasoo?

1. I never did something like that, but I think you light find where you can download them in the resources section on this forum; I hope it's explained how to make them work there where u download them.
2. There are lots of ways to create effects in photoshop, it realy depends on what kind of effev-cts you want. Things I use a lot are filters, blending options (right-clcik on your layer) and Image--> adjustments.
3. Hmm; not sure what you mean... Maybe gradient tool?
