Cut and past in Photoshop

Hi I am new and need some help. I want take a cut out and image of a person from one photo and past it into another photo file is this possible?

Yea it's possible: just select the part you want in the first photo and copy-paste it to the other one :D. To select you can use 3 tools:
-magic wand which selects a certain color range
-circle and square tools
-lasso selections

You can use shift to add a part to the selection and alt to unselect a part.
