!!! How Do You Do These Techniques !!!!

I’ve been designing and using Photoshop for awhile now. Now I want to use my skills towards designing adult content but it seems that I can’t get my sites or logos to "pop" how I would like to. I was wondering if anyone could look at these examples and tell me were I could start to improve my skills. Note: I’ve taken out all adult content, so you could focus on the layout and logos. Thanks.

ps: I hope this doesn’t offend anyone, please do not kick me off the forum for asking a question like this because this is design and this does require Photoshop. Thanks
