Making Blue Metal tutorial question

Love the tutorial section! Been learning lots in there. Really like the making Blue Metal tutorial!

I've been trying to make this effect, in relation to the Blue Metal tutorial (hope links are ok in these forums):

Looks like in that axailis.com tutorial - it's for a MAC. I couldn't seem to follow all the instructions. Any chance that anyone could clarify how to add this effect in conjunction with the Blue Metal tutorial?

Actually, Duece, the tutorial you reference IS written for PS on a PC platform (note the use of CTRL functions). Run thru it and if you have a specific question about a step, post it back here. The reason it's called "Macintosh" aqua is the extensive use of the aqua glass looking buttons, etc., used throughout the Mac interface in the OS. They popularized the look.
