Don't know if this belongs here, but I'm a n00b and I guess it's okay... I'm looking for a scanner that will scan a bunch of old photos I have automatically. I have an old easyphoto reader that will scan a stack of photos but it doesn't have good resolution and I can't get it to work under windows XP. These things weren't that expensive back in the day, it seems like there should be something comparable now.... Requirements: scan a stack of photos preferably under or around $100 Does anyone have experience with doing projects like this? What do you suggesT? |

good place to post it, no worries there there's a lot of decent pretty cheap scanners these days, I've had an epson i liked and HP and canon make some good ones as well. for this kinda stuff i've found my best bet is to check out the Top 10 lists at PCworld.com, here's the list for scanners and there's a few that should fit your budget. chris |
