how to make 3d character out of photograph? |

i havent found a tutorial to do this i need a body of a real person morphed into a 3d character. can any one help me out with this? sorry if this is in the wrong place but i really need the help! |

I don't believe there is an easy way of doing it. You need to be a semi-expert 3D-modeller to be able to do that, you also need to have several pictures from different angles to get perspective. Even then it would be hard to do it. Or you could get a hold of them fancy scanners they use in Hollywood, that scans your body and creates a 3D caracter out of it ;) |

those aren't 3d characters, probably an image where the original photo was painted over in illustrator. chris |

yup, that's the idea. in either illustrator or photoshop really, depends which you prefer but either would work. chris |

Try this. It's a quick/dirty solution, but might get you started. 1) Increase contrast 2) Use posterize to decrease the amount of colors 3) Blur the skin (blur tool, filter etc) or from the start try "smart blur" in the filter menu. You wont get the same effect as what you posted, but you'll get some kinda of over simplified fake look (like ppl are made out of plastic). |

actually it just m,ade it a blurry ugly pic lol anyone else can hlp me out? ho would you paint over it to make the colors right cuz using the magicwant and changing colors just makes it look funny |
