Caps problem |

I have some sorta permanent "caps lock" ...im not using it when i write ...i hit Shift and still the caps r still there...i cant change it...its not my keyboard...because it only happens with photoshop cs ... i tried typing something and looking for all the typing options...but i cant seem to solve the problem... Lookin forward for a reply ...thanks |

Check your character palette menu. It should be a drop down menu (alteast in PS6) that list things like superscript, faux bold, underline etc. There you'll find options for Caps. You most likely have "All Caps" selected. Just select it again to turn it off. Don't select "small caps" or you'll encounter the same problem, just with lowercase letters. Also in that same menu you should find "Reset Character", which will reset the palette to its default options. That'll help if it's acting buggy and you cant figure out whats wrong. |

Make sure you aren't using a font that is all-caps too.
