Shape making from multiple complex shape and path layers? so i have few layers(all vector paths and shapes) . now how to make a shape from all of that. every new shape is layer for itself. please help me people. everything i need to do please. I need it for logo. |

If I understand you right, you can just merge your layers: link them together and press CTRL-E

than it is raster not vector!

rule #1: don't yell! In CS2 (and maybe CS, dunno) select all your layers, right-click and 'Group Into New Smart Object'. You can edit from there via your Layers -> Smart Object menu. chris |

um, if you were in the vector biz you would've drawn it in illustrator and not had this problem I do quite a bit of vector/logo work and its all done in illustrator and i have no probs. and no, that doesn't create one editable path, not what photoshop does and can't be done in photoshop as far as i know. chris |

AND... you might try copying your shapes from photshop into illustrator, seems to work. chris |
