Photoshop CS - Colors messed up

Hi,
I'm having a little problem with Photoshop cs.
When I start a new image and paste from my clipboard the image shows up looking very red. I'm not sure what the problem is. I've messed around with the color presets and color modes but nothing seems to help. I'm using the RGB color mode 16bit.

I found the problem
I had to do the Adobe Gamma setup in the start menu and load the profile into Photoshop.
