if you'd have done it in flash, I doubt the file would have been any bigger than 25k...

I wish forums would allow flash sigs to a certain size, that would be extremely cool.

well thats isnt true my friend.

The correct title is 'Keyser Söze' to be correct.

Then we have a dilema when we translate it to english.

Now you can spell it 'Keyser Soze OR Keyer Soeze'

I think the Soeze represents the Ö better.

You plry cant say Ö cus ur from US. But im from sweden and we use the Ö in our language so i know how it sounds. And the OE sound better than just removing the dotts over the ö = o.

So there is not right or wrong in this matter my friend

why do you need to translate it into English? Everybody would know what you meant if you put "Keyser Söze" right? :p

Well, considering the film was in english and the character's name was spelled that way in the film i'm not entirely sure of the need to retranslate. but it's whatever

fair enough haha. Do you reckon with the next version of forums - (I don't know how it works but like the next version of vBulletin or something) will allow flash signatures? Or do you know of anywhere that does? I'm intrigued

You guys went a little off-topic I think... I'll try to answer on the first post... :
First you should open the "sign" in photoshop. Then it depends on ur .gif :
-) If you made it with photoshop and still have a .psd file you should open it and copy all layers (exept black background) to the file with the "sign"
-) if you only have the .gif file (files from an other program don't realy matter) I think it's easier to recreate that text urself with the text-tool. Then you should duplicate layer, lower opaticy, duplicate layer,...
-)If you realy want to use the gif, you can open it in imageready. Then you have to remove the black backgrounds from all the layers (this is easiest with magic-wand-tool) Then you can duplicate all layers to your "sign"-file.

Then you must go to imageready with ur "sign"-file and make an animation of it by activating/deactivating the right layers in the right frames. Save as .gif...

Btw, photoshop also has enough options to reduce the size (bits, and ofcourse pixels) of ur sig, but I'm not realy experienced in it...

Greatings, Doody
