Hi, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I type text along with an image, it comes out crackly looking on the webpage. you can take a look here at: http://www.missfitjeans.com/890823.html and scroll down and click on either the J013 or J014 styles. The descriptions of the styles look crackly. How do you fix this? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.. P.S. We are using a very basic html program which doesn't allow you to type where you need to so all text needs to be included in with the image that you create in PhotoShop. |

There should be a pulldown on the lower right of your Character palette in photoshop (or along your menu bar up top as well) that's set to 'None' when your text is selected. That's the antialiasing setting, set it to anything other than None and you should see a big improvement. And you need a new HTML program (or to learn to code HTML, not really that hard), there's tons of freeware/shareware editors out there or you could even get a demo of Dreamweaver from macromedia.com. chris |

Hi Chris Thanks for the response. Took your advice and it definitely made an improvement. but is there any way to not get that pixelated text look? and yeah, I know our web program is lousy. It's by website pros (netobjects.com) and it doesn't let you do much. so frustrating! but Thanks Again! |

Glad to help. there's no reason your text should look pixelated unless its the particular font you're using, you might try another and see if it makes a difference. If you're still having problems try posting a link to a PSD and we can take a look at it. chris |
