Are there naked girls on there? I must have missed them. Well, it's going to be pretty hard to search for almost naked women. For every site that comes up with almost naked women, there will be 10 with naked ones. So you may just have to wait a couple of years before you make some girly desktops. Or you could always just do it when your parents aren't looking. (not that I or the forum support that sort of thing. ;))

look around on that site....

search for "photos"

or

if you are looking for someone in particular search for their name.

(the content shouldn't upset your parents either)

Also, this might sound kinda lame but....

If you are worried about the things you might find and then them ragging on you...
Try this:
Go say "Hey Dad, I want to do a search on the internet to find < insert item here > but I'm worried about some of the content that search might turn up. Would you come help me?"

I KNOW this works... My 13 year old daughter does it daily.

Torn: I like that approach! We're trying to develop an 'internet' policy in our house. I've got a 6 yr old daughter and a 9 yr old son who will soon be able to hack through the net-nannies of the world.

It really works, also....they know you "care".

That might sound kinda strange....but these days I just ain't REAL sure ALL parents do. It's kinda like cable TV....I know and the kids know there is stuff out there they don't need to be associated with...The FCC is becoming more and more forgiving...I am not.

BTW....this started around my house when one of the kids made the mistake of searching "toys" on a search engine...
Give you 3 guesses what the #1 site contained. (it WAS NOT Toys-R-Us)

While we are on this subject.... let me throw this question out there. You know they are selling those .biz, .pro, .this, .that....

Why the heck didn't they... back in the 80's... make a .porn and
put ALL the porn sites under the .porn listing.... keeping them seperate...so if that crap is what you are looking for....you know EXACTLY where to go.

Doesn't that make sense? Is it just me?
