when i start with a transparent BG and i fill it...make my pic...and then try and cut the corners by making a line and then erasing the BG so it will be transparent on the corner(so it looks like it doesnt have corners). Then i save it....the corners are then white....so is there a way to do this easier? or am i doin something wrong?...BTW i save it as a gif. thx for the help SHaT |

Make sure that when you are saving ".gif" files, 1) File-->Save As-->Gif 2) Flatten Layers: "OK" 3) Indexed Color: Under the "Forced" drop down menu, make sure that little box that says "Transparency" is checked. But if you want to save yourself the time of cutting those edges off, start your image with a transparent background, then make a "Rounded Rectangle" on that new layer, and design over the rounded rectangle. |
